Open Source Intelligence

SIGNAL
THROUGH
THE NOISE.

Syntax Intelligence is an independent open-source intelligence practice. Every judgment we publish is sourced, confidence-rated, and separated from the evidence that supports it — no narrative smoothing, no unlabeled inference.

The Analysts
Behind the Signal.

Field-reported intelligence, built on named accountability

We work the way a briefing team works: evidence and inference stay in separate lanes, every finding carries a confidence label, and gaps in the collection get flagged instead of written around.

How we rate our own judgments
High

Multiple independent, credible sources converge; minimal ambiguity in interpretation.

Moderate

Sourcing is credible but limited, partially corroborated, or open to more than one reasonable reading.

Low

Single-source, dated, or conflicting reporting. Treated as a lead, not a finding.

Founder's Note

Why This Exists.

Much of the modern news cycle and aggregation can be polarized, one sided and biased. This is why I built Syntax Intelligence.
I want Syntax Intelligence to be a team of analysts who don't rely on their own perceived reality but who constantly challenge and question, adapting to what is in front of them, molding and perfecting their analytical judgment and framework.

uninformed—misguided into believing something they shouldn't.

Structured to the intelligence production cycle
01
DirectionRequirements
We scope the analytic question with you before collection starts — defining priority intelligence requirements, decision points, and what "answered" actually looks like.
02
CollectionSource Development
Multi-source open-source collection across public records, media, geospatial imagery, and specialized datasets, matched to the requirement — not a generic sweep.
03
ProcessingVerification
Source triangulation, geolocation, and cross-referencing before anything reaches analysis. Unverifiable material is marked, not discarded quietly.
04
AnalysisStructured Techniques
Findings run through structured analytic techniques — competing hypotheses, key assumptions checks — with every judgment labeled for confidence and separated from raw evidence.
05
DisseminationReporting
Finished products built for the reader: executive summary up front, evidence and inference in distinct sections, gaps flagged rather than smoothed over.
